While that is true that popularity doesn't make it untrue, the popular conspiracy theories have been debunked, and the sources found to be trying to intentionally manipulate people.
I mostly only speak against conspiracy theories I once fell for. I once believed climate change was a hoax, and that 911 was an inside job, until I looked deeper into these subjects.
