Why is BitCoin Cash getting hate?

replied 2607d
Because it's a threat to other coins because it actually works and scales.
replied 2607d
many btc supporters have swapped bch for btc and are afraid that sometime bch will be worth more than btc

I read BCH dropped from 0.1BTC to 0.02BTC.One user claimed BCH a scam.
I notice companies accepting crypto usually accept BTC.Thoughts?
replied 2607d
All crypto dropped 2018. ETH from 0.15 to 0.025 BTC for example. Is ETH a scam?
replied 2607d
BTC was hijacked in 2015 by the for profit Blockstream inc, which sabotaged scaling. It has first mover's advantage, but its market share is crashing (about 50% now, from 99%).
replied 2607d
BitcoinCash was activated by Bitcoiners who disliked Blockstream's move and split the Bitcoin blockchain as a last resort action.
replied 2607d
All the first mover forums became censored pro-Blockstream propaganda platforms so there were (and still are) huge anti-BCH campaigns being executed against BitcoinCash.
replied 2607d
Btc holders know that if bch prevails, btc will be worthless, that's why they fight bch with all means.
replied 2607d
Most handlers still support btc, but bch does catch up quickly. Check https://acceptbitcoin.cash and https://greenpages.cash
replied 2607d
Bitpay and the other payment processors already implemented BCH so the utility of BCH is essentially on par with BTC by now.
replied 2607d
One area where I think we really need bch adoption is with the crypto debit cards. It's always btc LTC and ETH. Bch is always excluded in this.
replied 2607d
I recommend reading up / asking stuff on reddit.com/r/btc (which provides open discussion with an open mod log). /r/Bitcoin and bitcointalk.org (biggest forums) are both censored.
replied 2607d
Btc holders also fear that btc will not survive the halving of 2020 and that hash power will pass to bch.
replied 2606d
BCH should hit the halving first, right? it's a few thousand blocks ahead? think this will be an obstacle for BCH or supporters will just mine through this period until BTC halves?
replied 2606d
At BCH, the difficulty adapts immediately. At BTC it takes 2 weeks. In this time the BTC network can collapse, because nobody will mine it with loss.
replied 2606d
yeah that's true. I guess I was asking if BCH halves first it's reward decreases. then some people mine BTC instead until BTC halves too? (some ppl ideologically mine at a lost eg BSV)
replied 2606d
Mining on a large scale based on ideology is not sustainable.

I think calvin already moved a lot of his hash to BTC (or didn't renew his mining contracts)
replied 2606d
thanks, lots of variables to consider
replied 2606d
Calvin can move his hash to BTC to make up for losses, BTC miners can not move anywhere.
replied 2606d
hadnt considered this, thanks
replied 2606d
BTC mining is much more expensive than BSV mining. 1 day BTC Mining ≈ 60 days BSV mining. Nobody will burn so much money.
replied 2606d
or BCH during the BSV fork
replied 2607d
Because it's peer to peer money which threatens the status quo of both the fiat a crypto world.
