Europe killed its natural habitats almost completely too....not much beauty left.
I think we should build on the ocean so we don't disturb the land, but government don't want that because they won't be able to tax you as much.
We already disturbed and over-fished the oceans and our activities are causing ecological disasters daily.
A population overshoot can't never be swept under the rug.
