It's already happening too. You really think the average american can afford a $20,000 sedan or $40,000 pickup on their $40-70k salary? Hell no.
They still buy that crap and willingly become debt slaves.
Yep, then they take on a $50-$200k student loan, and another $200-$800k loan for a house.
Before you know it your dead at 82 and the bank gets the house back anyway to sell it to the next sucker for a generation making 1-10% interest.
So the banks profit off of that and keep themselves in the top class that owns money and assets, and everyone else at the bottom that slaves away only to have those assets repossessed.
American's can't afford to live.
The only way to achieve the standard of American living is to either be rich or sell yourself to the banks for 30-70 years at a time for a home which essentially translates to forever.
Worse, consumers will take *debt* to get luxuries created by automation such as cell phones, computers, cars etc, driving market prices higher
Biggest bullshit I ever heard. Everything without routine won't. The fear of new things was always present on the Left, and they were always wrong.
It's not fear, it's wanting to work out a way to tax automated businesses to make sure we don't have a wave of unemployment or another age of noncompetition and robber barons.
