You can give anyone a new heart or kidney. You can't give them a new brain.
Eventually digital brains will be invented. Then you can just transfer your conscience to a computer and live forever.
Obviously you could kill the original you to prevent this. But that'd be controversial to say the least. You'd just be hiding the reality that the real you actually died.
It won't be you though. It will be a copy, eventually it will think and behave so differently from the original you it will cease to be anything like you.
