I understand you're probably passionate about a lot of these positions on scapegoat issues, but you're revealing how little you know about history. Walls by themselves don't help much
Also the Berlin Wall, which was ironically in the examples you cited. It held no one in, once they realized the oppressive regime behind it was full of shit
"held no one in" immigration dropped 8-10x... so it did hold in 85-90%? & it is an implicit assumption that they're not going to just build a wall and walk away.
Are you suggesting we become an authoritarian regime in order to avoid the few illegal immigrants who come in the Southern border? Those are terrible examples to be throwing around
So then walls dont work? Is it not possible to make tunnels in Germany or Israel or Hungary? Do they not have ladders there? Does a wall make a country authoritarian?
