Prove to me in any way that the "Majority" of people knew about crypto in 2013? Most people today looked like deer in headlights when I bring up Bitcoin and crypto.

By September 2018 80% of people heard of it. https://www.coindesk.com/survey-nearly-80-of-americans-have-heard-of-bitcoin

I cannot find any study made before 2017 yet.
