...and currently around 10% of all tx Re using the memo protocol. Still, I have the feeling not everyone in BCH really embraces it for whatever reason 🤔
BCH is not suitable so they have a point.
We need a new blockchain without the crippling limits and without the Bitcoin name.
What would be the mining incentive for a blockchain that is mainly for a social network?
Why use a blockchain that needs to be mined? PoS or BGP validation are better suited. Low latencies and low fees

I regard XRP as a scam currency with laughable issuance and release. When I looked into it many years ago the whole system seemed centralized and generally pathetic.
Personally I prefer CPU or GPU based POW.
Being global p2p money and being the backbone of blockchain based social media goes hand in hand.
The incentive is the same as with any other similar network (block rewards (initially) and fees).
