the Devs/Miners can pay for a lot of infrastructure work that in the end benefits every user of the network! I'm not sure how everybody keeps missing this! That's the point of Bitcoin!

So in case I haven't made myself clear: Some of the top 5 miners in the world just announced that they are going LONG on BCH and are also donating a pretty large sum of BCH to Devs!

The money isn't coming from the miners. It's coming from inflation from the users.

Less will be paid to miners, but they will now mine less, in response. No free work done from them.
