I found a better example:compare austria and germany:same language,same culture BUT austria has WAY more firearms per capita than germany and way less gun related homicides per citizen

You can also compare norway(more firearms per citizen) with germany(more gun related homicide) or luxemburg(nearly same firearms per citizen) with germany(a lot more homicides)

In germany most guns are shot at ranch with private guns. At german championship there are thousands of armed people with their own private firearms. Nobody ever got killed there.
