I recently tried to introduce someone to BCH - downloaded Bitcoin.com wallet - sent some funds - not a good start: the app did not work properly in a Tuš supermarket in Slovenia (maybe an issue with data roaming)
I had the same experience with bitcoin.com wallet on an old phone (Android 4.4) when paying in Tuš. On a new phone with modern Android, it worked.
