DAMN!!!!!! Sending BCH is Lamborghini fast!
replied 2106d
To be fair, while BCH is fast for a PoW, there are technologies that are orders of magnitude faster. DAGs like Nano and BGP validators like Ripple confirm on-chain in *seconds*

Please clarify for us.

BGP Validators like XRP put trust in a set of m/c's owned by competing entities that are unlikely to trust each other. Decentralized, not 100% trustless. 1500tps, <5 sec , cost < $.01

"packet-switchable, streamable money"

Well, DAGs are sort of like UDP to other coins' TCP. They broadcast txns. Suffers from crazy re-orgs, and semi-centralized Oracles/witnesses. But Nano txns are literally free. 7000 tps

"digital change, fast & cheap"

Ah so it goes back to the old saying " you can have it better, faster or cheaper ...Pick two

I think "private" is the specific "better" here. Design goals for private are very much in conflict with those for speed.
