Thats the first step of destruction. Eventually utility will take over. .

In the long term, BCH will be in huge disadvantage in the competition due to the 10 minute blocktime.

No it won't that is what 0 conf is for. If you look at the roadmap. Secure within 3 seconds is coming up. That will prevent double spends

I think rewriting the needed numbers with the proper numbers is a more secure and reliable way to fix an issue, than inventing new experimental technologies and solutions to malfix it.

Crypto will only survive with new technology. Sorry. That's how technology works.

Shorter blocktimes has other types of problems (higher orhpanrate, insuance change etc.) & is more intrusive than implementing somehting like Avalanche for fast tx finality.

If you want speed, you really need PoS or BGP validators, or maybe *maybe* DAGs. But not PoW.
If you want best assurance of decentralization, you really need PoW on COTS chips(RandomX)

PoS is synonymous with "cannot be made fungible" and "perverse incentives for holders of large reserves", which are exactly the fucking problems Bitcoin was created to eliminate.
