I recently tried to introduce someone to BCH - downloaded Bitcoin.com wallet - sent some funds - not a good start: the app did not work properly in a Tuš supermarket in Slovenia (maybe an issue with data roaming)
I had the same experience with bitcoin.com wallet on an old phone (Android 4.4) when paying in Tuš. On a new phone with modern Android, it worked.
That can happen. No biggie as long as it remains a rare occurrence.
Every successful achievement starts by 0, even worst than it. Archiement is an award for people who fallen and stood by their strength.

Reported some issues to Eligma in their Telegram group. A Tuš employee was like "We accept EliPay, not Bitcoin Cash"
