BSV becoming own coin was a good thing, now the anti-government wackos can focus on ABC Coin and that Ponzi Scheme called BTC. #BitcoinSV #BSV #ChooseSV #WeChooseSV #nChain

Good luck with "gov't friendly crypto" Crypto adoption threatens gov't interests, and they will shut you down if you give the tools to do so.

SV knows (and their partners will soon find out) that the majority of the utility of crypto is in its non-government-friendliness. They're mining a "snipped" chain. #EunicCoin

Since BSV and gov could become enemies and AnCap coins not going anywhere, does that mean we are stuck using PayPal, Fiat and MasterCard?

you are so naiv.. governments will never be crypto-friendly. nobody digs his own grave
replied 2397d
So since AnCap crypto revolution didn't come after 9 years and gov could turn on BSV. Are you now telling me crypto/Bitcoin is waste and should go back to Fiat/PayPal/MasterCard?

government will not help you to make a crypto great, which is not controllable by government. But if its controllable by government or any instance, it is worthless

BSV (and BTC) supporters just want institutional money to come in. Just a quick way of buying a Lambo.
replied 2397d
Disagree. I'm a BSV supporter, and I want to see if Bitcoin 0.1 can scale. We've tried literally everything else, but not the original protocol.

So you want miners to upgrade their hardware but not their software? Some bottlenecks are not due to lack of hardware perfomance.

Assume the network capacity, CPU, RAM, SSD increase by 10x, every protocol(including ETH LTC XRP) scales. But BCH will scale much faster by using techs like CTOR,Graphene, preconsensus.
Barricade

Preconsensus has anything to do with scalability? I though it just makes 0-conf more reliable.
BitcoinCash
replied 2397d
yes, pre-consensus make 0-conf more reliable when scaling. Without it, 0-conf just a mess when the network traffic peaking.
replied 2394d
Sustained network throughput is one thing but there is also latency & that limit is subject to the speed of light. There are good reasons to make things efficient besides.
replied 2397d
yeah thats correct! everyone seem to think that its not possible to scale the original protocol.. for good reason though.
replied 2395d
Not the Dash community. We are whole-heartedly in agreement with onchain scaling. We did a stress test recently with 3 million txs in 24 hours in fact.
replied 2395d
I agree with on chain scaling. But I think optimizations are required for it to progress further than a specific point.
replied 2394d
True. According to research by ASU https://tinyurl.com/ya82k7gs Dash can scale to at least 10MB blocks (btc equiv. 40 MB) right now with no more orphans. Thats 120 tps, 2x paypal
replied 2389d
Approx. the same with BCH with CTOR and Xthinner / Graphene introduced.
replied 2386d
Should be fun seeing which coin reaches mass adoption/scaling levels first

No, it can not. Original protocol, without block relay networks, or efficient block propagation methods like Compact blocks, Xthin, Graphene.

lol, they believe that institutional money wants to buy their bags. thats so naive
