Video game companies had this problem a while ago, they would focus on the CGI effects and the story line would be complete garbage, luckily FUTURAMA is not graphically intensive.
The graphics in a game or movie do not matter basically if the story is stupid...
I didn't think they could fuck up Cowboy Bebop, but they figured out a way. All Hulu/Disney had to do was continue the cartoon series, but noooooo, they gave us the live action crap.
