Thanks for trying it out and for the feedback! There is a Setting to disable requiring password for transactions.

Go to Tools > Preferences. In the "Ask for password after sending X satoshis" choose a high value. For 0 it asks for every transaction.

This setting could be more clear. Will look into changing it so it makes more sense.
