Large earthquake hits japan again?
replied 1499d
Roughly 63 times weaker (6 Orders of Magnitude) than the 2011 event.
Richter and many other scales use awkward LOG(ten-fingers)-based "decimal" numbers for scaling.

I have asked japanese friends since. They say they didnt even wake up from their sleep. It caused some damage to the grid, and more than a million person lost electricity temporally.
