Tom, my PC fans are going crazy when I have txstreet.com open in my browser. Can you look into this? Anyone else experiencing this? Browser: Chrome

It's not yet fully optimized. I'm gonna work on this. Do you know if you have a newer/older Gpu? Or integrated graphics?

In my case, it is Intel i5 with integrated GPU. Laptop starts humming a few seconds after entering the page.

Does the CPU usage start to go down after the initial page load?

Will check the laptop in the evening. I'm now at my desktop PC, old Core2 CPU E7300, integrated GPU. Linux. CPU stays at 45%. Initial load maybe up to 60%

That's not terrible for how little I've done to optimize so far. Thanks.

On laptop: i5-6267U, 4 cores, Win 10. Loaded the page. Plugged in, CPU runs at 2.9GHz, 35%, fans going into high speed. When on battery, CPU runs at 1.2GHz, 12%, fans not turning...

Integrated intel graphics in a Dell laptop

I have tested it, in chromium. It eats 4 cores fully with almost 100% load. I dont think this has anything to do with the GPU unless you use WebGL in your site.

It does use WebGL. But yeah, it could be something else too. Are you a developer?

I am a C programmer, a former game engine developer ( http://maker4d.uw.hu/index.html ).

Awesome, would u mind messaging me on twitter/reddit to give me more details? I'm not seeing that high of a CPU load even on my old devices.
replied 2086d
okay, i have sent you a report in reddit. i dont have twitter.

Same. My laptop wants to take off if the page stays open for several seconds.
