Well, it costs miner fees, so memo keeps it fragmented. When I consolidated mine (in Electron Cash) every single like was its own coin still. Was a pretty big TX to consolidate.
I think for most things it doesn't matter. If it matters for SLP tokens, then they prolly could update the code to first do a consolidation to make a coin big enough then generate.
Oh, I see. Not generating tokens, making offers with a contract. But still, they could do the consolidation as part of that process.
