My spidey sense is telling me the BCH community is starting to take things a little more seriously. It's definitely going to be an uphill climb, but people seem determined to get to the top. #dailymemo

Within a crypto community, only about 0.1-1% of the users can be considered productive. All the rest are usually fiat greedy, parasitic speculators waiting for the greater fools.

Perhaps that's right, but as long as the .1-1% are the best and the brightest, there's a chance.

That's probably true, as more scammy and substanceless projects are eliminated I'm seeing more people looking for robust development though

Most of my friends who used to be BTC maximalists are now saying they wish they had stayed in Ethereum despite the ratio, and some are asking lots of questions about BCH

Stayed in ETH for what reasons? Are they coders? Also, they could just switch now. I'm glad to hear people asking about BCH. Feel like the whole BCH is a scam thing is going away.

TBH I think BSV was a big part of that, it pretty much embodies all of the things maximalists used to accuse BCH of. Most just bought/sold ETH in 2013-16 and think it has grown more

2015-16* lol

I can't really disagree, I really like projects like BAT and MKR. I'm thinking BCH will see a similar explosion if used as its data layer though

Shouldn't metanet be a data layer on BSV? BCH should be p2p electronic cash, I thought.

Ethereum was originally planned to be built on top of Bitcoin, so a lot of the infrastructure is already there. IMO marrying the two projects will spur a lot of development & interest

The data storage is a slight hindrance, but Vitalik expects it will be pruned within 2-3 years and they will still pay fees. Payments are usually prioritized anyways
