Price has to be a metric to rate it. Because if the price isn't going up, that means the crypto isn't being adopted. People have to buy it to use it.

I suspect many exchanges don't have the coins they say they do
also there is much speculation, largely driven by hype and not use case
I'm looking at what people can do
with BCH as opposed to BCH vs other coin/currency price
admittedly any of these coins can fail
but I'm in it for the opportunity the tech brings
not speculation
it was playing out BSV,I liked HIVR and PixelWallet)
I quit BTC in 2018 because LN didn't do what I needed a chain to do
I'm at the top in the Pay With LTC store and never once got
any work
ETH/ETC are different, realistic about building tools useful to business
I see BCH implement similar competitive tools
tokens and smart contracts are useful for numerous
applications
that doesn't mean BCH or any other crypto will last, however I see what goes on behind the scenes (mainly BCH and ETH)
I see what the devs are thinking and how they
modify projects to make things people will WANT to use
so my reason for not only buying BCH but running a business on it (which I get a lot of shit from other communities for)
is the mentality of the people building the tools that run on BCH
Most are realistic and brutally honest about implementation
their tone is far different from the cheerleaders (on all
coins)
the ETH&BCH mindset is more practical and less fantasy
also I'm not of the opinion that 1 coin will survive
I'm seeing some of the cross chain theory and mechanism
my 2 main coins are ETH&BCH because of the tools I can use
if I think that I'm sure some larger businesses think the same
