Any other vehicles on the road that avoid accidents like this? Then I guess there is not any serious competition yet.
It be nice if Team Tesla simply figured out a way to convert any car into a Tesla :)
I imagine it just takes he sensor equipment and computers. Theoretically Tesla could sell a package for conversion. Getting updates would be iffy.
