majority of people think in this manner, so their intelligence is not that retarded at all compared to most. I suppose the issue is that a handful of people are simply more
intelligent than the rest, & frustrated by the inability of the less intelligent to comprehend as much as they do. Those with higher intelligence should take care to curtail their
hubris, as they too can fool themselves with unscientific thinking if not careful. There are few true polymaths but we should all endeavour to think about thinking more. One person I
look to as a very self-aware thinker and rationalist was Richard Feynman. There is a great collection of auto-biographical stories from him titled "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!".
