Thanks Jason,
I was working from that.
An application for sending + posting i in the works.
Having a wallet like ElectronCash supporting such activities seems excellent, but...

Short lines work okay but after about 40characters it starts falling apart:

it appears ElectronCash regards that hex-script as executable.

IMHO script/opreturns are something that should not be exist on the blockchain, it was a mistake to impement the the technology this way.

Scripts do not exist on the blockchain...only a hash of a hash scripts.

So when verifying the blockchain, no script has to be emulated to verify the integrity of a transaction?

Scripts are verified for all transactions, whether intrinsic to a normal address or included within the transaction itself for a P2SH. These scripts are not written to the blockchain.

In some aspects I might agree with you,
but I am having far too much fun exploring
what can be done with the Memo Protocol.
Perhaps someone will fork away a scriptless version.
