I think SideShift takes a 1% fee on the swap. But prices of cryptocurrencies went down right after that so it was a right move.

Yes, stablecoins. More stable in value than BTC or BCH.

I don't use Tether. I have USDH and Dai right now. But yeah I am aware that this is not without risk.
