Politicians get rich through their positions all the time. It happens naturally. We split power and it grows back together. What would happen if we did not fight this, would that be worse?

But if it happens anyway, is it better or worse to fight forever against this?
This is not an attempt to lead people to a conclusion. I want debate, claims of what is good and bad about centralized power out in the open vs. hidden.
