You have to apply if you want a piece of the fund. It's real. We just don't get much news on it. https://www.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-cash-ecosystem-fund/

It would be interesting to know whether there are already projects that have received funding.

I am sure there are because nobody will pass up free money There are probably a lot of great things in the works we just don't know about yet.

Nobody saw that 220M fund. There was an announcement, yes, but fund - no.
