Beware! Not all Spice is real spice. If the guy below is the source you have the fake spice

notAdmin has also listed fake USDH, showing the SLP icons for valuable tokens might help

Georg, I gave it a good thought and maybe here´s the solution. It was too long to put it on a message so I wrote it on Honest.cash

True, another token using the same name could be real. The spoof USDH and SPICE are linking the real website of honestcoin.io and email of SPICE....

maybe for such tokens like Spice, LLM and USDH an icon to separate them from the wannabe´s?
But what if Memo isn´t aware if a token is listed somewhere else, like YCLO?

back in 1600s there was free coinage in the Dutch republic and there where services that checked if your coins where real. Maybe that's an idea?

the Dutch made a mistake to centralize that service - that was the first central bank and became a swamp of fraud - but maybe allow people to offer soluttions

I recieved some USDH some while ago but couldn't send them to SideShift so there's more fake stuff going round

Is there a way to identify counterfeit tokens besides looking at the source?
replied 1697d
as far as I know only looking at source
