When people are buying crypto as it rises, they are choosing not to hold dollars in the dollar bear market.
I think this will not happen in the near future. Though it's good to have both. We have dollars on the blockchain already. Just not a scalable one.

But stablecoins are pointless imo. They lack the unique selling point of bitcoin, namely limited supply and scarcicity. Why not just use fiat then?
When there are fiat priced bonds issued with SLP, stable coins can be used to pay intrest on-chain.
I have got a roadmap for BCH.
0. Using SLP issue fiat priced bonds, stocks and etc.
1. Using SLP issue stable coin to support interest / dividend payment.
2. BCH become price currency.
Is this being worked on right now?
