Thanks for reporting. I will look into it. Though the ABC site is not being maintained and is planned to be decommissioned. I recommend using memo.cash from now on.

Is there still going to be an option to post just to the BCH chain?

It was nice to have unsplit transactions at first, but I feel like it may be better to separate them at this point

If you turn off split protection in settings it won't pay attention to which chain coins are on.

Do I need to make an extra long post in order to split my coins? I have it turned it off and it seems to still be broadcasting to both chains

In theory, but big memos sometimes get confirmed on BCH. Transactions are broadcast to both chains but miners are pulling transactions from both mempools anyways.

On Memo.cash you can see small icons for each coin.

Both.I recommend you to use memo and not abc.memo.cash works with BCH and there you can see small icons for each coin

Memo.cash is primarily BCH and memo.sv primarily BSV. Though both use unsplit coins if possible.
