An update after learning what was occurring:
GOLANG runs both IPFS and BCHD.
Nice language but it leads to huge memory problems.
Guzzles ram with zero regard for system limits.
BCHD seems to require swap ++ serious memory to get through certain bits of the blockchain.
IPFS devs still hear issues with IPFS simply not having self-discipline.
Such as it is.
Nope.
BCHD continuously re-verifies the IPFS UTXO 3g data,
Downloading it over and over and over guzzling bandwidth all the way into an infinite loop.
It never stops or indicates.
Two servers - both Stretch, both fully updated, and GO is the same version.
Laptop works, but ignores -ALL- MEMO TX, The VPS fails.
Recompiled BCHD still never-ending -fastsync
