You're the one keep saying coinbase is the value of your money. That doesn't make any sense.
It's called inflation, which takes value from my holdings and transfers it to others. So holders are current paying for security through inflation. We could pay for other things.
That's deep down in the protocol you can't change that. It was never a thing to even argue about.
