You can see by the market caps that the majority went with BCH and not BSV. If I am a business, I am not going to be an idiot just to take a stand.
replied 2664d
agree with you but dont like the market cap argument in isolation b/c people say the same about BTC & BCH. market is 'deciding' every minute.
replied 2664d
BCH and BSV are competitors. BCH and BTC are not competitors. That's the difference. BTC is just trying to be a store of value. BCH is trying to be a currency.

BCH and BTC cannot compete. They follow teams with floppy agendas. BSV only follows the White Paper.

It looks like BSV follows a roadmap...and doesn't quite understand how sitemaps work: https://bitcoinsv.io/roadmap-new/

I'm having fun just reading through looking for typos lol

>PR. 001 Enhanced Scripting Capalibility

>PR. 002 Increased Scriptiing Capacity

BSV only follows Coingeek, if they go under then the project is dead. That's not decentralization.
replied 2664d
yeah, "in isolation" b/c like you say there are a ton of other important differences to consider.
replied 2664d
"BCH and BTC are not competitors"

lol, do you seriously believe that?
replied 2664d
They are not competitors. They are striving for 2 different goals. BTC is no longer trying to be a currency. The community tells you to use your credit card over BTC. LOL.
replied 2664d
That is BS, otherwise the Core cabal would have changed the basic marketing and white paper too.
replied 2664d
Every single crypto currency competes for the same userbase (potentially, all the internet connected people).
replied 2664d
Completely not true. But I expect that from a TWAT.
replied 2664d
How is it not true?
replied 2664d
VET and XMR are not pursuing the same userbase. Plenty of other examples
replied 2664d
Are you guys really going to pretend that not all crypto communities want their shitcoin to be as widely adopted as possible?

Haven't heard of VET, but XMR wants to be money some day
replied 2664d
They want price to go up, sure, but they aren't going after the same userbase. Another example is XRP, they're mostly pursuing banks.

Userbase =/= shitcoin holders/moonboys
replied 2664d
Lol, that's just laughable. If it was true (XRP targeting banks) then XRP wouldn't be the most heavily shilled scamcoin in existence.
replied 2664d
XRP would have a potential use case if banks weren't corrupt as fuck and actually wanted to charge lower fees. The fact that it's a scam doesn't mean it isn't built for banks
replied 2664d
The other problem with ripple is there are like billions of ripple locked up owned by the creators. If they start dumping all that into the market, Ripple will crash.
replied 2664d
XRP brings nothing to the table in my view.
replied 2664d
Agreed, especially in a world where BTC exists.

But banks would probably use/buy it to keep a controlled blockchain competitive if BTC wasn't so controlled and gimped by BS
replied 2664d
What's laughable is out of 2000 cryptos you are trying to make an example with 1. LOL
replied 2664d
Then you didn't follow the conversations carefully enough....
replied 2664d
Sure they all have wallets and they want you to use their coin, but money isn't their main focus.
replied 2664d
You're somewhat right. The main focus of most of the shitcoins is to get retards like you buying it. :)
replied 2664d
I only buy BCH. It's the only one that will be money for the world. I don't need anything else.
replied 2664d
you're not hopeless after all. 👍😂
replied 2664d
There are over 2000 cryptos and you are telling me they are all trying to be money for the world? LOL. Just look at the projects. Continued----------
replied 2664d
No, I wasn't talking about all of the micro-cap shitcoins that you idiots try to get rich with. There are about 10 cryptocurrencies today that worth to mention and 3 real networks.
replied 2664d
I see where you're coming from, I feel like they are still technically still competing projects simply because they compete for the same hashrate though
