What about the 1 CPU = 1 Vote nonsense. Is it not just POW that votes in the end?
The 1 CPU = 1 VOTE thing is more a statement that anyone demonstrates control and will to use more hash than the other party they can effectively shut down the competing chain.
He's right though. I use BCH in a personal form all the time and never notice the variation in hash.
That being said I would prefer more regular blocks through an improved DAA all things equal, but it's not worth a split to me so I'll be following the longest chain.
The only time I notice is when people who pay watch the blocks call it to my attention
