Think about this, if a #dating app matched people with the appropriate mate, quickly, they would NOT be required to go on hundreds of #dates. But then the dating app would lose money.

You are right. The economic incentives are misaligned, similar to doctors treating a disease instead of curing it. But in this particular case, the couple found each other.

I understand. But it would be hard to create a site that only takes money if the match works. Sociopathic couples could just claim the date failed.
