Manufacturers will anticipate algo changes now too, and the ones with the capital will work on solutions that are resistant or more adaptable. Just makes it more centralized eventually
Personally I have a stake in BCH and XMR and look forward to seeing how these roadmaps/policies fare on the long term.
Me too, plus I mine it with all of my home PCs. I view it as a very compelling experiment, but I don't hold out a lot of hope for ASIC resistance, it's only fighting against capitalism
