2 tablespoons milk
1 cup (8 ounce jar) candied cherries
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped pecans (or use all pecans)
Sift flour with salt, cinnamon and baking soda.
| Cream butter. Add brown sugar, vanilla, and milk. Cream well. Add dry ingredients gradually. Mix thoroughly. Stir in cherries and nuts. Divide dough in half and shape into 12"
| long rolls. Wrap in plastic wrap. Chill at least 4 to 6 hours or freeze(works better). Cut into 1/4" slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes
