It isn't about unstoppable solutions. It is about workable solutions. Most crypto doesn't matter, and the exchanging between them is meaningless speculation.

True. Only one crypto is actually being used as currency. Billions of dollars of trade -- not just speculative hodling.
replied 1356d
It is about both. If you just want workable, just continue using fiat.

In the end it looks like only BTC, ETH, and Doge seem to have any chance at a serious future. Having too many crypto hurts the whole system.

Having too many shitcoins hurts incl thebcurrent top ones. Doge...LOL
replied 1353d
Doge is a joke. What matters is that people know of it, and that matters more than anything else.

Doge,BTC,ETH,Tron,...there are hundreds of tokens that do not scale (& therefore cannot be liquid), are not fungible, have terrible inflation, etc & therefore *cannot* function as money

People think "crypto" means all those coins. It's like if "computer" meant Ryzens but also Tinkertoys, people would correctly be skeptical of them

Only until it fails. I mean look at Solana. Major hype, rocketed into the top 10 and now it is collapsing as the centralized VC funded shitcoin it is amidst the FTX collapse.
replied 1350d
SOL gets a lot of hate but its PoH is a real significant improvement over PoS, and scales like crazy. It's not "centralized", anyone can run a node. They're just beefy machines.

It will never be money because it's not fungible nor private. But it's more scalable than BCH.
