I went 1 year without shaving or even trimming my beard, it didn't stop growing lol !! I was very happy to go to a Turkish Barber and get it shaved off after the year was up !!!
I can imagine that. Personally, my beard is too thin and light to grow. Maybe I could grow a moustache or a goatee. But never really felt the urge.
I think it's something you got to try once in your life :-)
