It's been a while, but here is the new version (in beta), please let me know what you think so far. https://txstreet.com/beta

Saw Memo.cash on their website and decided to try it. So here I am. their website is really cool!

If possible: Make the size of the queue somewhat relative to the size of the buses, so that you have an idea of how mant busses are neede to empty the queue.
replied 1946d
Love it! I think the tutorial for new users will be extremely helpful, a few people who I've showed txstreet didn't understand what they were looking at initially. Great work!
replied 1946d
Looks cool, I like the southpark character look.
replied 1944d
Don’t know it it already does this, but when the buses leave, it should only be the ones with people in that drive off, to illustrate that blocks don’t have to be full.
Tom
replied 1944d
Yes it already does that. :)

Can you make the token transactions display the token name instead of the token id?
Tom
replied 1944d
Yes!

I really enjoy watching it. stupid question though what is the symbol some of the BTC people carry? is it to represent a layer 2 protocol?
Tom
replied 1945d
That means it's a segwit transaction and they're carrying the witness data, which they'll eventually throw into the segwit trailer.
replied 1946d
I like it a lot. It looks much better on the smartphone than the current version. But when I click on setings everything is empty.
Tom
replied 1946d
Thanks! I haven't done the settings yet so that's normal.
replied 1946d
I noticed that after the BTC males on the bus have left, the queue disappears, although mempool is not empty yet.
Tom
replied 1946d
Right now it only loads up to 2mb of the mempool on initial page load. In the future it will add more after every block if needed.
Tom
replied 1946d
Also see the "visualized" stat.
replied 1946d
This is arguably better than the previous version. Thanks for the hard work. Ive always imagined the final version would be a silicon valley map, with people coming from different

Buildings (crypto services and business) to get on our bch hyperloop
Tom
replied 1946d
Thanks, the main reason I made a new version was to make it modular so I can easily add a ton of new stuff. So it's still a work in progress. Looking for feedback and suggestions.
replied 1946d
I love seeing everybody cramming into btc's bus and throwing their segwit luggage in the back.My only comment, when you do dual view, people just appear in the middle and walk
Tom
replied 1946d
Hmm that shouldn't happen. Would you mind taking a screenshot and sending it to me on reddit or twitter (see my profile)? Along with the browser and OS you use. Thanks I appreciate it.
replied 1946d
Sorry no Reddit or twitter for this handle yet. Chrome for Android 80.0.3987.87. Android 10. I circled where the people start appearing.
Tom
replied 1946d
Oh yes that is intentional. They will fade in behind where they are walking towards. I could make it more elegant though. Thank you for clarifying.
replied 1946d
No worries. Thanks for the fun visualizer and continued work.
replied 1946d
Way to go Tom!
Tom
replied 1946d
Thanks! I added the SLP house like you suggested. Need to add way more houses.

Tom, my PC fans are going crazy when I have txstreet.com open in my browser. Can you look into this? Anyone else experiencing this? Browser: Chrome
Tom
replied 1944d
It's not yet fully optimized. I'm gonna work on this. Do you know if you have a newer/older Gpu? Or integrated graphics?
homopit
replied 1944d
In my case, it is Intel i5 with integrated GPU. Laptop starts humming a few seconds after entering the page.
Tom
replied 1943d
Does the CPU usage start to go down after the initial page load?
homopit
replied 1943d
Will check the laptop in the evening. I'm now at my desktop PC, old Core2 CPU E7300, integrated GPU. Linux. CPU stays at 45%. Initial load maybe up to 60%
Tom
replied 1943d
That's not terrible for how little I've done to optimize so far. Thanks.
homopit
replied 1943d
...page seems to run the animations just fine in both cases.
homopit
replied 1943d
On laptop: i5-6267U, 4 cores, Win 10. Loaded the page. Plugged in, CPU runs at 2.9GHz, 35%, fans going into high speed. When on battery, CPU runs at 1.2GHz, 12%, fans not turning...

Integrated intel graphics in a Dell laptop
replied 1944d
I have tested it, in chromium. It eats 4 cores fully with almost 100% load. I dont think this has anything to do with the GPU unless you use WebGL in your site.
Tom
replied 1944d
It does use WebGL. But yeah, it could be something else too. Are you a developer?
replied 1944d
I am a C programmer, a former game engine developer ( http://maker4d.uw.hu/index.html ).
Tom
replied 1943d
Awesome, would u mind messaging me on twitter/reddit to give me more details? I'm not seeing that high of a CPU load even on my old devices.
replied 1943d
okay, i have sent you a report in reddit. i dont have twitter.
homopit
replied 1944d
Same. My laptop wants to take off if the page stays open for several seconds.
replied 1946d
Like it. Noticed there are a lot more BCH transactions then last time I checked out txstreet. Unfortunately there seem to be fewer memo actions.

Dual view doesn't seem to work for me, no visuals. Android, chrome.

Single view works fine for both BTC/BCH
Tom
replied 1946d
What version of chrome? Up to date? Does it happen every time?
Calm_down_stupid 15kFCL
replied 1945d
Just tried again (after updating chrome), did the same but found out it works in landscape but not portrait for dual view (didn't try landscape before updated lol!)
Calm_down_stupid 15kFCL
replied 1945d
Thinking back, did the old site warn about "best viewed in landscape on mobile ?" Maybe need to reinstate that for fools like me :-)
Tom
replied 1945d
Portrait should default to a single street view, so no need for a message :) But it shouldn't show a black screen.
