Agreed, more like a soft "mute" function instead of a hard "block" function. Would be useful to mute spam bots etc.

Yes! I'd like to mute the Dungeons and Dragons topic 😁

Yes - even though it is really cool that people are playing it - it would be nice to be able mute it

What if topic messages were hidden from feeds? Then you would only see them if you visited the topic specifically.

But then you might risk that the topics are not getting attention... I would prefer to mute only certain topics
replied 1834d
I second that.

True. Would it be possible to add an indicator on the front page for the 3-5 most recently updated topics?
replied 1835d
That's not a bad idea

Just as long as there's still a fire-hose somewhere.

Some of the best info comes from the firehose...

No worries, I'm taking a break anyways. Thinking of waiting until Calvin pulls his support of SV or runs out of money, it's dividing the Memo community too much

I think the Memo communitty were more divided a few month ago. Now I see far less BSV shilling.
replied 1835d
Talking about developer focus as well, but having a partitioned community between two different projects is just not smart in general. I might make my own if SV takes a while to fail

Mengerian just realised that: https://medium.com/@Mengerian/why-i-am-leaving-bitcoin-unlimited-263f9c7a959b
IMO, BU should take a clear position: BCH or BSV.
replied 1835d
BU the organization, not the software implementation, right?

Of course.

Don't stop!
replied 1835d
Haha I didn't mean to upset you! Please stay, BSV trolls are not here anymore.
replied 1835d
No the DnD comments are understandable. I'm worried that the block function will make Memo defunct, I hoped to see it become more of an open Reddit than a closed Twitter
replied 1835d
That is, where users can follow communities they want updates on, and have to dig for others. Futility of censorship/echo chambers was one of the main reasons I had hope for this place
