That's hypethetical; all things must be proven in real life. Einstein never proved any of his hypothesiss. He just wrote a bunch of random equations to fit the bill.

I'm not sure but I do know Einstein was actually a liar big time. The Michelson–Morley experiment proved the earth does not move but Einstein made up ideas to get around it.
