While not government, I am an elected official and represent people on a board.
You have to have a completely twisted thought process to call that logic lol.
Voting for your slavers won't make it democracy. it's a farce, nothing more.
That isn't just a thought process though. That is how representative democracy works. There is no slavery going on. Regular people can even run for elections, and have won.
