What is the difference between a Verified and an Unverified SLP token?
replied 2099d
You have to submit proof that you own the address that created the token. Essentially giving more confidence that the verified token is the real one.

For example SPICE has lots of copies but only 1 is verified because it's the real one.

Who do we submit it to?
replied 2099d
You make a pull request here to get your token added to the verified list. https://github.com/blockparty-sh/slp-explorer/blob/master/README.md

They ask for proof in the pull request. What kind of proof do they want?
replied 2098d
Prob the easiest way to prove is to sign a message with your private keys like keepbitcoin.org and I did. Take a look at the closed pull requests to see what people have done.

So using Electron Cash, I sign by providing a message and my token address. It then generates a signature. I provide all 3 of these items as proof?
replied 2098d
Yup. That's what I did.
replied 2098d
ok I just did it. A first for me. Thanks a lot!

Cool. The dev is in telegram blockparty_sh. He's a busy guy so if he doesn't get to it in about a few days, just give him a friendly message.

Thanks for helping me get it verified. I bought some Spice off you.

Thanks alot! Glad it all worked out. Enjoy the free DIVVY with your purchase.

If you want your DV icon to display in the new bitcoin.com wallet, you will need to open a pull request here (I think). https://github.com/atomiclabs/cryptocurrency-icons/pulls

I'm not sure this one is it. I'm pretty sure it's this one https://github.com/Bitcoin-com/bch-token-icons . But dont hold your breath. They only merge ones they want.
replied 2096d
Worth a shot. Might as well try for both.
replied 2096d
had no idea, thanks for the heads up.
